This is the Discovery GAME, where we discover spiritual truths through storytelling.
Sin Spreads
.Adam knew Eve and she became pregnant.
.Cain was born with God’s help, then she gave birth to a second.
.Both sons grew and made offerings to God.
.Cain gave his first fruits; Abel sacrificed the firstborn of his flock.
.The Lord favored Abel’s sacrifice, and not at all Cain’s.
.Then Cain became angry as he felt the pain.
.The Lord spoke to Cain that he too would be accepted,
.And no longer be sad if only he repented.
.“If you do not do what is right,” God said to Cain,
.“Sin will come in and you must resist it’s chain.”
.Then Cain said to Abel, “Let’s go to the field together.”
.Then he killed Abel to make himself feel better.
.“Where is Abel?” the LORD then asked.
.“Don’t know,” said Cain, “is watching him my only task?”
.“What have you done? Your brother’s blood cries out to me.
.Into the ground Abel’s blood was received.
.So you will no longer work the ground or see another crop.
.You must wander the earth and can never stop!”
.But Cain cried out, “No, surely I’ll die!
.Without a field and apart from you what will I have in this life?
.A restless wanderer is what I will be,
.And whoever finds me, will surely kill me!”
.So the Lord decided to put a special mark on Cain,
.That would protect him as he wandered, in spite of the brother he had slain.
